Study
for Children and Adolescents
(7-17 years old) with Tourette Syndrome
Does your child make
sounds or movements that they cannot control like eyeblinking, facial
grimaces, or throat clearing? Do they also have other behavior and mood
difficulties that bother them? The UCLA Child and Adolescent OCD, Anxiety,
and Tic Disorders Program is studying the effects of an experimental drug,
Zyprexa, on tics and other behavior and mood problems associated with
Tourette Syndrome in children. The study provides: up to 6 weeks of an
experimental drug (Zyprexa).
